AI Senior Consultant in Pharma & Life science (Strategy & Data/AI Transformation)

Artefact Group Switzerland SA seeks a Senior AI Consultant in Pharma & Life Sciences to blend strategy consulting with data and AI innovation, based in Zurich.

This position operates at the crossroads of strategic advisory and data-driven innovation. The consultant will partner with leadership teams in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors to tackle critical business questions, leveraging advanced analytics and artificial intelligence to shape future strategies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive teams in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries to address critical business questions involving AI and commercial models.
• Deconstruct intricate challenges into practical, actionable strategies by applying consulting frameworks enhanced with data and AI insights.
• Manage projects from initial hypothesis development through market analysis, client workshops, governance structuring, and implementation planning.
• Build trusted partnerships with C-suite executives and business unit heads to effectively communicate strategic recommendations.
• Drive the expansion of the Zurich practice by developing new service offerings, creating intellectual assets, and engaging in business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in strategy consulting, data/digital advisory, or business analysis.
• Demonstrated focus and experience within the Pharma & Life Sciences industry.
• Practical experience working on data, analytics, or AI-driven initiatives.
• Deep understanding of the life sciences landscape, including regulatory frameworks, drug development processes, and digital health advancements.
• Solid knowledge of data and digital technologies, such as analytics, AI, machine learning, digital marketing, and cloud infrastructure.
• Fluent proficiency in both German and English (written and spoken).
• Legal eligibility to work in Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in French is considered a significant advantage.
