Senior Compliance Expert - Dealing in Securities, Anti-Trust & Fair Competition, temporary 6 months

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking a Senior Compliance Expert for a 6-month fixed-term role in Zürich. The position focuses on Dealing in Securities, Anti-Trust, and Fair Competition within the Group Functions.

This temporary position provides specialized support to Zurich’s Group Functions, ensuring robust compliance practices in Dealing in Securities, Anti-Trust, and Fair Competition. The role contributes to the ongoing development and enhancement of the compliance framework across relevant business areas.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve a strong compliance framework, focusing on Dealing in Securities, SIX requirements, and Anti-Trust/Fair Competition.
  • Provide expert advice on personal account dealing, information barriers, market conduct, and competition law to stakeholders and the compliance network.
  • Develop guidance, reporting tools, training materials, and awareness resources, ensuring practical and engaging implementation.
  • Interpret and apply internal policies and external regulations regarding employee securities transactions, conflicts of interest, watch/restricted lists, and competition law.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Audit functions to manage compliance risks effectively.
  • Partner with local and regional compliance officers to ensure consistent interpretation and application of requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business models and contribute to compliant outcomes.
  • Conduct oversight, monitoring, and assurance activities, identifying and escalating material issues as needed.
  • Support strategic projects, regulatory changes, and cross-functional programs, adapting to evolving business and regulatory developments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Dealing in Securities, securities compliance, market conduct, Anti-Trust, Fair Competition, or related compliance/legal roles, preferably in a complex international setting.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, especially concerning employee securities transactions, market conduct, SIX requirements, and Anti-Trust/Fair Competition.
  • University degree in law.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
