The company seeks a (Senior) Director for New Product Planning in Morges, CH, to lead commercial strategy for Hematology & Oncology assets internationally.
This position sits at the crossroads of scientific insight, strategic planning, and commercial execution. The role is responsible for defining how new assets are developed, positioned, and launched across global markets, while helping to build an international organization that drives portfolio decisions and strengthens the company's standing in Hematology and Oncology.
Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive commercial strategies for key Hematology and Oncology products in international regions.
- Define Target Product Profiles by spotting chances for clinical and commercial distinction.
- Guide development approaches using market data, competitor analysis, and shifting treatment standards.
- Collaborate with Clinical Development teams to refine trial designs and ensure evidence meets market needs.
- Develop strategic recommendations to improve portfolio prioritization and extend asset value over time.
- Construct detailed forecasting, valuation, and scenario-planning models to back investment choices.
- Craft unique value propositions tailored to physicians, patients, healthcare systems, and payers.
- Evaluate market potential, competitive forces, and emerging treatment models in international areas.
- Work with Market Access and HEOR groups to design pricing, reimbursement, and evidence strategies.
- Find ways to maximize long-term lifecycle value for the entire portfolio.
- Act as the International Commercial representative in cross-functional governance and asset teams.
- Drive strategic decisions across Development, Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Market Access functions.
Requirements
- Extensive background in New Product Planning, Commercial Strategy, Launch Excellence, or similar strategic commercial roles within pharma or biotech.
- Profound knowledge of Hematology, Oncology, or Specialty Care sectors.
- Solid grasp of international healthcare frameworks, pricing mechanisms, reimbursement processes, and commercialization tactics.
- Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams within complex global structures.
- Ability to convert scientific advancements into commercially viable strategies.
- Advanced degree in science or business (MBA, PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) is mandatory.
