Kistler seeks a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer to strengthen its firmware platform in Winterthur. The role focuses on BSP and Yocto development for high-tech measurement systems.

This position supports the Embedded Device Software department within the Electronics division. The team is responsible for maintaining the common firmware and embedded Linux platform used in high-tech measurement systems. The opening was created to replace a retiring colleague and reinforce the platform's capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain firmware for long-life high-tech products with a focus on reusability.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, security, and testing teams.
• Handle complex tasks within the embedded Linux platform environment.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Board Support Package (BSP) and Yocto.
