The company is looking for an experienced developer to support a major financial institution in Zurich. The role involves migrating mission-critical financial platforms and building modern, scalable React applications. The developer will deliver high-quality user experiences within a regulated, enterprise-scale environment using JavaScript and TypeScript.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of complex frontend solutions, prioritizing scalability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and business stakeholders to convert complex requirements into intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
- Write production-grade React and TypeScript code for complex financial applications.
- Solve advanced frontend challenges, including state management, performance optimization, and integration with distributed backend systems.
- Refactor and modernize existing codebases as needed.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in development and production environments.
- Contribute actively in an agile, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Extensive, hands-on experience in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a strong focus on React at enterprise scale.
- Deep understanding of modern frontend ecosystems, tools, and frameworks (React, Node.js, build tooling).
- Proven experience working with design systems and large, shared component libraries.
- Solid understanding of Unix/Linux environments and bash scripting.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to API security, OAuth2, and related standards.
