(Senior) Lead Fund Controller

Partners Group seeks a Senior Lead Fund Controller in Zug to oversee audits, NAV accuracy, and financial reporting for its Evergreen Fund Control team.

This position sits within the Evergreen Fund Control team at Partners Group in Zug. The role provides broad exposure to audit coordination, NAV oversight, and financial reporting across a diverse portfolio of entities. It involves leading high-stakes annual audits within tight cycles and partnering with senior stakeholders in a dynamic global environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct the coordination of annual audits for a large portfolio, including complex and regulated fund structures, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality financial statements and annual reports.
• Act as the primary liaison for auditors and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and execution across demanding timelines.
• Review and challenge NAV packages, financial statements, and annual reports prepared by external fund administrators to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Participate in technical accounting discussions and evaluate the impact of accounting policies on NAV and financial statements.
• Collaborate closely with external fund administrators on periodic NAV processes and financial reporting deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting, control, and audit coordination processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality.
• Build strong working relationships across a broad stakeholder group, fostering collaboration, transparency, and timely issue resolution.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues to support their professional development and strengthen the broader team.

Requirements

• Professional experience with IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience with private markets semi-liquid funds.
