Within the Tax & Legal department, this position focuses on delivering integrated tax solutions to institutions in the financial services sector. The professional will guide clients through intricate regulatory landscapes, helping them navigate both local and international tax challenges while optimizing their management strategies.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to domestic and international financial entities regarding cross-border reorganizations, the tax implications of financial instruments, and reporting duties.
- Manage operational tax matters, including the administration of withholding tax and stamp duties.
- Execute tax compliance assignments for banking, insurance, and fund management entities, and assist in audit procedures by reviewing tax elements within annual financial reports.
- Lead responsibilities on international assignments with direct client interaction.
- Mentor and develop junior staff members through training and professional guidance.
Requirements
- Possess a qualification as a certified tax expert or a specialized Swiss Master's degree, such as an LL.M. in Swiss and International Taxation.
- Hold an academic background in administration, economics, or law.
- Demonstrate at least six years of professional experience within tax or legal consulting, specifically focusing on the financial services industry.
- Communicate with full fluency in both German and English.
