Senior New Business & Sales Representative

AlpineAI AG seeks a Senior New Business & Sales Representative in Zürich to drive growth in the Swiss public sector by building trust-based relationships with municipalities and authorities.

This position operates at the intersection of technology, strategy, and public-sector engagement. The primary objective is to expand AlpineAI’s footprint across Switzerland’s public sector by establishing trust with municipalities and government bodies, ensuring that generative AI solutions are effectively adopted by administrative leaders and decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential clients, including municipalities, cities, and cantonal institutions.
• Analyze administrative workflows to determine where generative AI can deliver significant value.
• Oversee the complete sales process, from initial outreach to securing long-term contracts.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear product requirements for internal teams.
• Present AI solutions to IT departments, administrative leaders, and executive decision-makers.
• Cultivate and sustain long-term partnerships with key government authorities.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention for ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to share market insights and customer priorities.
• Track market trends, policy updates, and competitor activities within the Swiss public sector.
• Represent the company at industry events, public-sector networks, and conferences.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of LLM technology, including multimodal models and prompting strategies.
• Practical experience with AI system capabilities and limitations.
• Ability to demonstrate AI features and translate them into concrete use cases for authorities.
• Proven background working with Swiss public-sector or health stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in sales, business development, or consultative selling.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence when engaging with administrative leaders and political stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and decision-making processes.
• Professional fluency in Swiss-German, German, and French is required.
• Permission to work in Switzerland is required.
• Ability to work regularly from Zurich or Davos.
