Senior Quality Specialist

Nestle Operational Services Worldwide SA seeks a Senior Quality Specialist in Orbe, CH, to ensure food safety and quality by design for beverage systems through cross-functional collaboration.

This position focuses on building consumer trust and delivering superior experiences for beverage systems by embedding food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards into every stage of development. The specialist works closely with project managers, quality teams, manufacturing partners, and legal experts to ensure innovations are safe, compliant, and consumer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Champion quality by design principles during beverage system development to ensure innovations are safe and meet consumer expectations.
• Ensure right-first-time quality for new systems, products, packaging, and filling lines from initial development through technical approval.
• Develop comprehensive validation plans and secure quality sign-offs to align partners, strengthen decision-making, and mitigate risks prior to launch.
• Integrate food safety, product compliance, and quality standards into development, manufacturing, and supplier activities.
• Provide technical guidance to factories and consumer service teams to effectively resolve quality issues and sustain improvements.
• Share best practices, tools, and expertise across sites to enhance quality capabilities and support continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Extensive expertise in quality assurance, manufacturing, research and development, and beverage systems.
• A degree or equivalent qualification in science, chemistry, or packaging.
• Solid knowledge of food safety, hazard analysis, product compliance, good manufacturing practices, verification, and auditing.
• Fluent proficiency in English for communication.
