Senior Quantitative Analyst

SIX Financial Information seeks a Senior Quantitative Analyst in Zürich to conduct quantitative research on order book dynamics and develop data products. The role requires strong academic background, capital markets experience, and proficiency in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative research and analytics on order book dynamics to enhance the trading of current products and services.
• Deliver research and market analysis to spot trends for upcoming projects and track the progress of launched services.
• Assist the team in monetizing data by creating new analytics data products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, peers, competitors, and providers, as well as internal teams such as sales, business intelligence, data management, and colleagues from other SIX business units.

Requirements

• Hold a top academic profile in finance, economics, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Possess at least 2 years of capital markets experience in quantitative research or trading, with deep knowledge of market microstructure.
• Be a highly rigorous, research-oriented, and self-motivated individual who consistently delivers high-quality work.
• Demonstrate strong command of Python, SQL, and data analysis packages.
• Fluency in English is required, while Spanish and German are highly useful.
