Swissblock seeks a Senior Quantitative Researcher in Baar to develop algorithmic crypto strategies. This remote role requires strong Python skills and an advanced quantitative degree.
As part of the Systematic Crypto Group, this position focuses on converting market insights into algorithmic investment strategies. The successful candidate will manage the entire research lifecycle, guiding projects from initial concept through to final implementation.
Responsibilities
- Investigate crypto ecosystems to identify fundamental drivers of price and risk.
- Apply advanced statistical methods to both traditional and cryptocurrency-specific datasets.
- Design and improve monetization frameworks for trading signals and market anomalies.
- Build, backtest, and deploy algorithmic trading strategies in live environments.
- Track live strategy performance and feed insights back into the research cycle.
- Contribute to the research agenda by sharing findings and new ideas.
Requirements
- Hold an advanced degree in a highly quantitative discipline.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in Python.
- Have practical experience with statistical software packages.
- Show excellent analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Be able to summarize and communicate research outcomes clearly.
