Senior Security Engineer, Cloud Red Team, Cloud CISO

Google seeks a Senior Security Engineer for its Cloud Red Team in Zürich to simulate attacks and strengthen Google Cloud's security posture.

This position sits within the Cloud CISO organization's Cloud Red Team. The primary objective is to enhance the security of Google Cloud by executing realistic attack simulations that reveal vulnerabilities and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Execute red team exercises to evaluate the resilience of cloud infrastructure and associated services.
• Detect security gaps and deliver practical guidance for fixing identified issues.
• Work closely with engineering groups to adopt and apply security best practices.
• Monitor current threat environments and evolving attack methodologies.

Requirements

• Demonstrated strong command of the English language.
• Background in security engineering, red teaming, or offensive security operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cloud security architecture designs.
