The company seeks a Senior Test Manager to direct comprehensive testing activities for a significant Finance programme, functioning as the deputy to the Test Stream Lead and ensuring quality delivery across all development stages.
Responsibilities
- Directing full lifecycle testing efforts, including planning and executing System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, integration tests, and final dress rehearsals.
- Developing detailed test scenarios, scripts, and acceptance criteria by collaborating with subject matter experts and IT specialists.
- Overseeing the preparation of test data and environments, handling data anonymization, provisioning, and validation from development through production phases.
- Managing defect tracking via JIRA, analyzing root causes, resolving issues, and delivering regular quality reports.
- Acting as the primary liaison during testing phases, supporting User Acceptance Testing facilitation and sign-off, maintaining cutover and rollback plans, and providing post-launch support.
- Training business testers on testing procedures, including the use of Jira/xRay and the creation of test cases.
- Supporting the Test Stream Lead in leadership duties.
Requirements
- Demonstrated background in software testing and quality assurance, preferably within large IT transformations or financial services.
- Extensive practical experience managing end-to-end testing workflows, including planning, scenario design, defect handling, and executing diverse test types.
- Proficiency with Jira and xRay platforms.
- Fluent command of the English language.
Nice to have
- Previous experience with core banking systems such as Temenos T24 or SAP.
- Working knowledge of German.
