Kone (Switzerland) seeks a mid-level elevator service technician for the Dübendorf and Volketswil region. The role focuses on maintenance, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction.

This position is responsible for the safety, performance, and maintenance of elevator equipment within the assigned site environment. The technician ensures customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, managing relationships with clients, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and operational protocols during all service visits.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance, emergency callouts, and necessary repairs while adhering to schedules and quality standards.
• Communicate proactively with customers and site contacts to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Report work progress in real-time to systems like e-Optimum and Customer Notification for accurate record-keeping.
• Identify potential site risks and escalate high-risk situations to supervisors immediately.
• Execute unplanned repairs by contacting site contacts and obtaining approval when work falls outside existing contracts.
• Follow all maintenance and safety instructions strictly during operations.
• Plan daily workload in coordination with the service supervisor.
• Identify and report potential sales opportunities to the supervisor.
• Submit accurate timesheets reflecting completed tasks.
• Manage proximity stock, including inventory control, shelving, and spare parts requests.
• Maintain service tools, vehicles, and instruments in safe and good working condition.
• Provide feedback to the PCM organization and supervisors to improve products, methods, and safety.
• Keep supervisors informed of all relevant site information.
• Stay current with lift technology and attend required training sessions.
• Train or coach colleagues as nominated by the supervisor.

Requirements
