Infomaniak seeks a Mid-level Site Reliability Engineer for its Core services team in Les Acacias, CH. The role focuses on maintaining database and monitoring infrastructure with a hybrid work model.
This position belongs to the Core services team, which oversees infrastructure handling data flows. The team provides essential, redundant services such as databases, messaging, log archiving, and monitoring to support all other company teams and services.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the stability of current services and infrastructure.
- Maintain and evolve infrastructure through updates, capacity planning, and design.
- Automate recurring tasks and implement automatic remediations to achieve self-healing systems.
- Participate in the on-call rotation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Linux system administration, with self-taught individuals welcome.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems, git, and databases (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Clickhouse).
- Proficiency with the Zabbix monitoring system.
- Experience with configuration managers (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).
- Excellent oral and written communication in French and fluent English.
- Good organizational skills, dynamism, and ability to work autonomously.
Nice to have
- Production experience with high availability databases.
- Experience with messaging tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Production experience with Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes (ECK).
- Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
