Social Media & Content Manager

SPIRE AG seeks a Junior Social Media & Content Manager in Zürich to create engaging content and manage social channels across German and English platforms in a hybrid setup.

The position focuses on developing and executing content strategies for both digital and physical channels. The specialist will translate complex technical details into accessible, compelling narratives for the audience.

Responsibilities

• Create social media updates, draft video scripts, adapt existing material, and maintain editorial schedules.
• Oversee the social media publishing calendar, upload creative assets, engage with audience comments, and analyze channel metrics.
• Produce visual materials and short video clips by utilizing design templates or marketing applications.
• Work alongside Brand and Marketing Activation groups to assemble campaign resources.
• Generate short-form content by editing footage, inserting subtitles, choosing images, and preparing drafts for team review.
• Monitor industry discussions, follow competitor activities, and facilitate community interaction.
• Gather performance data, compile basic reports, and identify trends to drive ongoing optimization.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and Product departments by creating content drafts, managing shared files, and upholding brand standards.

Requirements

• Proven background in content production, social media management, or digital marketing.
• University degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, or a related discipline.
• Fluency in writing clear, captivating copy in both German and English.
• Fundamental understanding of LinkedIn and/or YouTube platforms.
• Passion for storytelling, technology, and aerospace or space-related subjects.
• Experience with basic video editing or design software such as Canva, Adobe Express, or AI tools.
• Eagerness to learn, accept constructive feedback, and expand into greater responsibilities.
• Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international setting.

• Prior exposure to B2B or technology sectors.
• Basic familiarity with analytics platforms like HubSpot or native social media insights.
• Interest in exploring AI-driven content generation tools.
