Sr. Manager, Systems & Process Management

Alcon Services AG seeks a Sr. Manager for Systems & Process Management in Fribourg. This onsite role leads global demand planning, inventory optimization, and AI-driven supply chain innovation.

The company is looking for a leader to serve as the Global Process Owner for Demand Planning and Inventory Optimization. This position supports the MTO Global Data Management Team and focuses on integrating Next Generation AI and Machine Learning capabilities into core planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the creation and rollout of advanced supply chain solutions using AI and machine learning.
• Manage a team responsible for building standardized processes, governance frameworks, and enablement tools to boost scalability and efficiency.
• Create and follow a multi-year strategy to mature demand planning capabilities.
• Guide cross-functional efforts to integrate demand planning into IBP and S&OP workflows.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation in forecasting methods.
• Collaborate with IT, Analytics, Global S&OP, and regional planning groups to refine end-to-end planning execution.
• Unify demand planning and inventory optimization processes across different business units and regions.
• Apply segmentation strategies, causal modeling, and demand sensing techniques.
• Ensure widespread adoption of relevant systems and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• Fluent proficiency in English for reading, writing, and communication.
• At least seven years of relevant professional experience.
• Five years of proven leadership experience.
• Willingness to work onsite in Fribourg.
