Staff Product Manager - Travel & Spend

Perk Yokoy seeks a Staff Product Manager to lead the Travel & Spend product team, merging travel and expense management into a unified, AI-driven experience for modern businesses.

This position focuses on redefining how organizations handle financial movements by integrating travel and expense workflows into a single, cohesive process. The successful candidate will own the strategic direction of the Spend product, driving growth and ensuring that complex financial tasks are streamlined for both employees and finance departments.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the entire Spend ecosystem.
• Lead high-speed product development by leveraging customer feedback, data analytics, and AI capabilities.
• Translate technical possibilities and user insights into intuitive, seamless user experiences.
• Facilitate the management of expenses, corporate cards, and invoice processing for internal teams.
• Utilize rapid prototyping tools to accelerate development cycles and test new features quickly.
• Monitor emerging AI research and industry trends to identify creative applications for the product.
• Adopt a servant-leadership style to support the team, maintain focus, and encourage collaboration.

Requirements

• Deep customer empathy and a design-thinking mindset, with a strong interest in the full expense lifecycle.
• Proven ability to make product decisions based on rigorous data analysis.
• Experience in evaluating trade-offs and prioritizing product features effectively.
• Track record of leading and influencing small groups of engineers and designers.
• Strong capability to collaborate across large, cross-functional teams and with various stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AI through personal projects, prototyping, or side builds.
• Proficiency with modern prototyping tools such as Cursor, Bolt, or Claude Code, along with comfort using Figma and Git.
