SIX Group seeks a Strategy Manager in Zürich to support the Business Strategy team within Corporate Development, shaping unit strategies and advising senior leadership.
This position is part of the Business Strategy team, which operates under Corporate Development in the CFO function. The role focuses on defining how SIX’s business units compete and succeed, providing direct support to the Executive Board and Board of Directors with structured analysis and strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on defining the competitive strategies for various business units.
- Convert complex, open-ended business questions into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Prepare high-quality materials and presentations for senior management and board-level decision-making.
- Conduct market research, analyze competitive landscapes, and perform financial modeling to support strategic initiatives.
- Partner with deal teams on mergers, acquisitions, and other major strategic projects from inception to execution.
- Work with cross-functional teams to validate ideas and drive adoption of strategic plans.
Requirements
- Up to two years of experience in management consulting, corporate finance, or investment banking.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, economics, finance, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and PowerPoint for storytelling and presentation.
- Fluent command of English.
Nice to have
- A genuine interest in strategy, innovation, and financial markets.
- Knowledge of German and/or Spanish.
