This 12-month internship supports the Early Clinical Development team in Oncology. The intern will join a Clinical Trial Team to assist with study-level activities using biostatistical methods. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to provide high-quality statistical insights and help plan and execute analyses.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and implement novel statistical techniques, focusing on dose optimization, adaptive designs, and probability of success evaluation.
- Optionally develop interactive Shiny applications for dose escalation design and monitoring.
Requirements
- Currently completing or recently finished a PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or hold an MSc with initial research experience.
- Proficient programming abilities in R, with additional value for Python or SAS knowledge.
- Effective written and verbal communication capabilities.
- A cooperative attitude and a strong desire to work within multidisciplinary teams.
Nice to have
- Initial exposure to Bayesian statistics.
- Prior experience creating Shiny applications.
- Basic familiarity with oncology clinical trials.
