Debiopharm seeks an Intern for personalised medicine in Lausanne, focusing on liquid-biopsy biomarker research in oncology and clinical trial design.

This internship supports the investigation of liquid-biopsy biomarkers in oncology, directly contributing to internal project portfolios. The role involves participating in clinical investigations, aiding in the design of patient-centric trials, and helping to develop targeted therapies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced data analysis on liquid biopsy sequencing results and suggest further investigations.
• Integrate liquid biopsy methods into the project portfolio and contribute to clinical trial protocols.
• Advocate for the adoption of liquid biopsy technologies within project teams and management.
• Assist in defining and implementing biomarker strategies where liquid biopsy data are essential.

Requirements

• PhD in Life sciences, molecular biology, genetics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in large datasets analysis.
• Comfortable with using basic bioinformatic tools.
• Ready to work in a cross-functional team and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).

• Previous experience with molecular diagnostic assays.
