Application Development Intern - Reagents

Lunaphore Technologies SA seeks an Application Development Intern in Tolochenaz, CH, to test and validate immunofluorescent multiplex markers for immuno-oncology tissue samples.

This internship, reporting to the Application Development Manager, focuses on the testing and validation of new markers for immunofluorescent multiplex applications on tissue samples within the field of immuno-oncology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests, optimizations, and validations for new markers used in immunofluorescent multiplex stainings on tissue samples
• Investigate and comprehend the foundational knowledge regarding the target markers currently under development
• Familiarize oneself with the marker validation procedures and the criteria required for acceptance
• Capture images, process the data, perform analysis, and deliver concise reports of the results
• Participate in the ongoing enhancement of both the device and its associated software

Requirements

• Hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
• Demonstrate practical experience with immunoassays and/or the analysis of histological samples
• Possess fluent proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Prior experience utilizing fluorescent microscopy
• An academic or professional background in immunology or oncology
• Strong understanding of image processing techniques and data analysis methods
