Resmonics seeks a Signal Processing Intern in Zürich to develop on-device algorithms and deep learning models for digital health solutions.
This internship focuses on creating and improving signal processing techniques and deep learning architectures for use on local devices. The successful candidate will collaborate directly with the technical team within the digital health and respiratory care sector.
Responsibilities
- Address intricate technical challenges with limited oversight
- Produce clear documentation and write code that is maintainable and reusable
- Apply test-driven development practices to ensure high-quality software features
- Identify and fix software bugs and other technical issues
- Evaluate and improve the existing product's technical design, codebase, and documentation
Requirements
- A degree in computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, bioengineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- Fluency in either English or German
- An entrepreneurial attitude with a focus on customer needs
Nice to have
- Prior experience in AI, machine learning, or deep learning
- Familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, Sklearn, PyTorch, or Keras
- Background in acoustic signal processing, including knowledge of the Nyquist–Shannon sampling theorem
- Experience in software engineering and development
- Knowledge of building SDKs for Android or other mobile operating systems
