Lonza in Visp, Switzerland, is seeking an intern to support mammalian purification development for novel biotherapeutics. The role focuses on downstream process experiments, data analysis, and documentation.
This internship is based at the Lonza facility in Visp, Switzerland, within the Mammalian Purification Development team. The primary purpose of the position is to assist in creating and refining purification processes for new biotherapeutic products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory experiments utilizing chromatography and membrane separation methods.
- Support the implementation and recording of downstream process development tasks specific to ongoing projects.
- Gather, compile, and interpret experimental data to create development reports and presentation materials.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a Bachelor or Master student.
- Possess solid biotechnology knowledge, with specific understanding of downstream process development.
- Demonstrate excellent proficiency in English and basic German language skills.
