Software Development / QA Intern

Lunaphore Technologies SA seeks a Software Development / QA Intern in Tolochenaz, CH, to support the Computer Vision team with software quality assurance and testing in a hybrid, full-time role.

This internship provides practical experience within the Computer Vision team, focusing on the development and quality assurance of software systems. The position allows the intern to work on advanced computer vision technologies in a dynamic and innovative setting.

Responsibilities

• Help the Computer Vision team maintain software reliability and quality
• Create, update, and manage automated test suites with standard testing tools
• Write and upkeep scripts that facilitate test automation and validation
• Run test cases, evaluate outcomes, and document defects accurately
• Partner with developers to troubleshoot problems and enhance system efficiency
• Suggest improvements to testing procedures, tools, and documentation

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline
• Understanding of fundamental software development concepts and testing methods
• Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Capability to function both autonomously and collaboratively within a team

Nice to have

• Background or interest in computer vision or machine learning
• Experience with test automation frameworks or QA tools
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
