Team Lead ICT Engineering & Operations

SKAN AG seeks a Team Lead for ICT Engineering & Operations in Allschwil to manage hybrid infrastructure, drive cloud transformation, and lead the technical team.

The company is looking for a leader to oversee the engineering and daily operation of its hybrid ICT environment. This role focuses on ensuring secure, high-performance systems while guiding the strategic shift toward cloud-based architectures and modernizing the Microsoft-based landscape.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational guidance for the ICT Engineering & Operations group.
• Guarantee the stability, security, and efficiency of the hybrid infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure and cloud initiatives from initial planning through to deployment.
• Enhance the Microsoft-based system environment, covering both on-premises and Azure components.
• Contribute to the definition and execution of the cloud strategy.
• Assess current services and migrate them to hybrid or cloud solutions.
• Implement and refine identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Establish and update technical standards, operational procedures, and automation frameworks.
• Apply and improve ITIL processes within the IT department.
• Connect international sites into a unified, scalable infrastructure.
• Mentor team members and support their professional growth.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments, external partners, and vendors.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Proven experience in senior technical positions within enterprise infrastructure settings.
• Strong background in engineering and operating complex hybrid ICT systems.
• Deep expertise in the Microsoft Server ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud designs and migration projects.
• Knowledge of automating and standardizing operational workflows.
• Experience with backup and recovery tools, such as Veeam.
• Solid understanding of networking, VPNs, security protocols, and infrastructure design.
• Fluency in both German and English.

• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
