Team Leader IT I&S

Swiss AviationSoftware, a Lufthansa Technik subsidiary, seeks a Team Leader IT I&S in Allschwil, CH, to lead a team ensuring high-performance IT infrastructure. The role involves operational planning, compliance, and team leadership in a hybrid work environment.

Swiss AviationSoftware, a 100% subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik, drives digital transformation in aviation technical asset operations. The company uses the AMOS software to manage maintenance, engineering, and logistics for modern airlines. The Team Leader IT I&S is responsible for ensuring reliable, high-performance infrastructure and empowering the team to maintain optimal operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the team meets its operational goals and objectives
• Plan projects, schedule resources, and manage team capacity
• Continuously enhance operational efficiency
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations
• Manage relationships with internal and external technology partners
• Adhere to departmental and company policies and procedures
• Serve as the main contact for IT and services-related issues

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, preferably hands-on
• Fluent in English
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proactive, reliable, and solution-focused mindset
• Effective conflict resolution and feedback skills
• Solid decision-making, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong leadership, delegation, and coaching skills
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and under pressure
• In-depth knowledge of Linux, Windows, IT Workplace, Networking, and Identity
• Experience with IT infrastructure including Virtualization, Containers, Servers, and Storage

Nice to have

• Additional language skills, especially German, are beneficial
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab is advantageous
