Team Leader IT I&S (100%, all genders) at SWISS Aviation Software

The company seeks a Team Leader IT I&S to oversee infrastructure performance and guide a team in maintaining optimal operations for Swiss-AS.

This position focuses on ensuring the reliability and high performance of the IT infrastructure while leading a team to keep Swiss-AS systems running efficiently. The role involves strategic planning, operational oversight, and fostering a collaborative environment to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Guide the team to meet operational targets and objectives
• Plan projects, allocate resources, and manage team capacity
• Identify and implement improvements to boost operational efficiency
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and standards
• Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external technology vendors
• Enforce adherence to departmental and corporate policies
• Serve as the main contact for IT-related inquiries and service issues

Requirements

• At least five years of IT experience, with hands-on involvement preferred
• Fluent English proficiency
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Proactive, dependable, and solution-focused mindset
• Effective conflict resolution and feedback delivery skills
• Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities
• Proven leadership, delegation, and coaching expertise
• Ability to work independently and manage pressure effectively
• Deep knowledge of Linux, Windows, IT Workplace, Networking, and Identity management
• Experience with IT infrastructure components like virtualization, containers, servers, and storage

Nice to have

• Additional language skills, particularly German, are advantageous
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab is beneficial
