Team Leader Technical Field Service Switzerland 80 - 100 % (w/m/d)

Hamilton Services AG seeks a Team Leader for Technical Field Service in Switzerland (80-100%). This hybrid role blends team leadership with hands-on technical support, requiring strong engineering background and cross-functional communication skills.

This position sits within the EMEA Technical Support organization and aims to deliver a premium service experience while driving a successful service business. The role combines leadership duties with active field work, including customer installations, maintenance, repairs, and handling technical escalations. The incumbent will harmonize service processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the region.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop the Swiss Field Service team.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and manage key technical escalations.
• Meet operational KPIs and commercial service targets.
• Plan resources and optimize field service operations.
• Drive process harmonization and continuous improvement across EMEA.

Requirements

• Several years of Field Service experience in a similar environment.
• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (HF/FH) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges.
• Valid B-driving license required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft world from office tools to ERP and CSM solutions.
• Leadership experience or strong leadership potential.
• Interdisciplinary knowledge and competences covering robotics, mechanics, electronics and software.
• Strong communication skills: capability to understand and ensure customer needs and lead escalation conversations.
• Well organized, punctual, and diligent in completing documentation and administrative tasks.
• Flexible and willing to travel frequently, including overnight stays in hotels when required.

• Good German and English, French language skills.
