Teamlead Service Management & Production (m/f/d)

Symlab AG seeks a Teamlead for Service Management & Production in Ostermundigen. The role oversees technical support, service processes, and electronic manufacturing operations.

This position plays a key part in shaping the future of a global organization by bridging multiple departments including development, service, production, purchasing, and sales. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence across both customer-facing support and internal manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical customer support activities, both remotely and on-site, focusing on high-frequency technology, communications engineering, and RF systems.
• Manage maintenance schedules, repair workflows, and field service operations.
• Develop and maintain service level agreements (SLAs), ticketing systems, and overall service procedures.
• Handle spare parts management, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
• Deliver technical training sessions to clients at domestic and international locations.
• Foster and sustain long-term relationships with key customers.
• Ensure all service documentation remains accurate and compliant with established processes.
• Lead a team of six employees involved in electronic production and integration.
• Plan production activities, allocate resources, and manage delivery timelines.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
• Maintain and update documentation related to manufacturing and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of communications engineering and radio frequency (RF) technology.
• Proven experience in service or field support roles, alongside experience in electronic product manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary settings.
• Excellent communication abilities with a strong team-oriented mindset.
• A structured, conscientious, and solution-focused work style.
• Fluency in both German and English at a very good level.
