Responsibilities
- Prepare and formulate paint and coating samples for laboratory use
- Evaluate raw materials, fillers, and additives across various paint systems
- Perform tests on wet paint and dried film characteristics following internal protocols and standards
- Document and organize test data clearly and systematically
- Analyze and compare formulation performance metrics
- Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and work areas in an orderly state
- Adhere strictly to safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures
- Partner with the technical team on development initiatives and daily lab tasks
Requirements
- Currently studying Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Demonstrates an organized, hands-on, and detail-focused approach
- Capable of careful result analysis and accurate documentation
- Possesses strong teamwork skills and eagerness to learn in a global setting
- Shows initiative, reliability, and the ability to work independently after training
- Fluent in English communication
Nice to have
- Prior experience or strong interest in paints, coatings, formulation, and lab testing
- Proficiency in German
- Knowledge of standard lab practices and Microsoft Office applications
