Technical Team Lead

OWT seeks a Technical Team Lead in Lausanne to guide teams in delivering AI-powered software solutions and drive digital transformation for Swiss clients.

As a Technical Team Lead at OWT, you will steer teams through the creation of AI-driven software products while serving as a key technical advisor for clients. The position focuses on enabling leading Swiss organizations to undergo meaningful digital transformation through innovative technology adoption.

Responsibilities

• Direct teams in architecting and implementing AI-enabled software solutions using Claude, Claude Code, and current engineering standards.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor for client engagements.
• Manage the entire project timeline, spanning initial requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Define technical architecture, select appropriate technologies, establish development standards, and configure CI/CD pipelines while respecting client constraints.
• Apply agile frameworks (SCRUM, SAFe) alongside DevSecOps principles.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and encourage a mindset of ongoing skill development.

Requirements

• University degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related discipline, plus a minimum of seven years in analysis, design, and development.
• Demonstrated history of leading teams and contributing to Agile initiatives.
• Deep interest in artificial intelligence with practical background in large language models, prompt engineering, agent design, and RAG architectures.
• Extensive proficiency in Spring Boot or .NET frameworks.
• Comprehensive grasp of web architectures and RESTful services.
• Thorough understanding of security standards (OWASP).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and DevSecOps principles.
• Fluent command of French and English (C1 level or higher).

Nice to have

• Background in frontend development using Angular or React.
• Ability to communicate in German.
