Technology Strategy Lead

Logitech seeks a Technology Strategy Lead in Lausanne to drive the PWS innovation pipeline, translating strategic vision into concrete technology roadmaps and engineering deliverables.

This position sits within the Personal Workspace Solutions (PWS) engineering group in Lausanne, Switzerland. The role serves as a central strategic function focused on the front end of innovation. Its primary purpose is to translate high-level strategic vision into a concrete technology and experience roadmap, ensuring that technical building blocks effectively feed the New Product Introduction (NPI) pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional dialogues with Engineering and Product Management to define the innovation pipeline, evaluate technical solutions, and establish the strategic technology roadmap.
• Define and steer the strategic innovation direction by collaborating with key internal teams and external partners.
• Convert the innovation roadmap into tangible outputs, including technology and experience building blocks and detailed project briefs for engineering teams.
• Guide cross-functional engineering teams in developing and validating new technical concepts, managing these building blocks through to full development in the NPI phase and subsequent Mass Production.
• Ensure internal alignment and manage external technical partnerships with platform partners and suppliers, aligning efforts with PWS strategic goals and reducing risks in the NPI roadmap.
• Establish strong technical connections across R&D partners to drive consensus on critical technology decisions and provide executive-level updates.

Requirements

• Over eight years of experience in defining technology roadmaps or leading R&D projects from concept to delivery within high-volume consumer electronics.
• Solid understanding of project management standards and methodologies.
• Deep technical expertise in PWS-relevant areas such as advanced sensor technology, wireless protocols, low-power design, Edge AI/ML deployment, and OS-level integration.
• Demonstrated strong technical skills, systems thinking, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to think independently and critically, with strong analytical skills and knowledge of Design Thinking.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to explain complex technical architectures to non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel domestically and intercontinentally for project events.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in AI, ML, Robotics, or an MBA.
• Certifications in PMP, Innovation Management, or Design.
