This position supports ongoing research into metabolic conditions such as obesity, liver cancer, and gut microbiome interactions. The technician ensures laboratory operations run smoothly while providing direct technical assistance for studies on hepatic steatosis and related disorders.
Responsibilities
- Procure standard laboratory supplies and materials.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Manage the organization and upkeep of mouse genetic lines.
- Conduct experimental procedures on rodents, including mice and rats.
- Support researchers with tasks involving molecular biology, cellular biology, and pharmacology.
Requirements
- Hold a CFC diploma as a biology laboratory technician, biology technician, or medical laboratory technician.
- Demonstrate strong responsibility, motivation, and adaptability within an international team setting.
- Possess good proficiency in English.
- Have solid skills in current computer software, specifically MS-Office.
