Technology Transfer & Project Manager (80-100%)

Ophtapharm AG seeks a Technology Transfer & Project Manager in Hettlingen to lead product transfers and lifecycle activities, supporting the company's shift to a Contract Manufacturing Organization.

This position plays a central role in the Product Transfer team, which is driving Ophtapharm's strategic evolution into a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO). The incumbent will oversee product transfers, manage product changes, and handle lifecycle activities across the entire portfolio, ensuring seamless execution from initial assessment through to successful implementation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer products throughout their entire lifecycle, including the management of product changes and related implementation tasks.
• Assess new business opportunities, products, and manufacturing projects by collaborating with various internal departments.
• Direct technology transfer initiatives and significant product modifications, guiding them from the initial evaluation phase to final execution.
• Serve as the main point of contact for both external clients and internal teams, maintaining alignment and clear communication during all project stages.
• Guarantee that all product transfers and lifecycle activities are executed and documented in strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.

Requirements

• A university degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Process Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Proven professional experience working within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical setting.
• Demonstrated background in managing technology transfers, product implementations, or complex cross-functional projects.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Native-level fluency in both English and German.

• Prior experience working in sterile production environments.
