Flux Mobility in Winterthur, CH, seeks a Senior Vehicle Systems & Homologation Engineer to support technical coordination and regulatory compliance for electric light commercial vehicles. The role requires deep technical expertise and experience in automotive homologation, with a focus on integrating regulatory requirements early in development.

This role supports the technical coordination of vehicle development and homologation for electric light commercial vehicles, acting as a bridge between engineering, safety, and regulatory requirements. It involves integrating regulatory standards into technical development from the outset and working within a small, agile team with direct decision-making paths.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate systems engineering efforts across software, electronics, and mechanical teams.
  • Maintain a consistent system architecture and define clear interfaces between vehicle subsystems.
  • Support vehicle homologation for the European market, including preparation of technical documentation and coordination with technical services and authorities.
  • Integrate regulatory requirements into the technical development process at an early stage.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external development and testing partners.
  • Contribute directly in a technical discipline—software, electronics, or mechanical engineering—based on your background.

Requirements

  • A degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable field.
  • At least 7 years of industry experience in automotive or another highly regulated technical sector.
  • Experience with vehicle homologation or regulatory requirements for the European market.
  • Engineering experience in at least one of the following: software, electronics, or mechanical engineering.
  • Ability to structure, coordinate, and lead technical topics across multiple disciplines.
  • Self-motivated approach and willingness to take ownership in a small, pragmatic engineering team.

Nice to have

  • Experience with safety-related development processes or standards, such as UNECE regulations or ISO 26262.
