Senior Automotive Vehicle Solution Owner

Neuralconcept seeks a Senior Automotive Vehicle Solution Owner in Lausanne to lead the Vehicle Body solution on its AI-powered platform, bridging engineering, simulation, and data science for OEMs.

This position focuses on defining and delivering the Vehicle Body solution within the Neural Concept platform. The role merges design, simulation, and machine learning to accelerate development cycles. The incumbent will partner directly with major automotive manufacturers to translate their specific needs into strategic product direction.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of the Vehicle solution, ensuring the delivery of robust and scalable engineering tools on the Neural Concept platform.
• Conduct initial discovery sessions with OEM and Tier-1 clients to establish strategic partnerships, verify solution viability against practical needs, and broaden the product's scope.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary group of CAD, CAE, and ML engineers to transition prototypes into production-ready tools.
• Provide Sales, Solution Engineering, and Marketing teams with the necessary domain expertise, value propositions, and collateral to effectively engage senior automotive decision-makers.
• Act as a representative for Neuralconcept in advanced technical and strategic conversations, oversee major customer projects, and ensure vertical initiatives align with broader company goals.

Requirements

• Over a decade of experience in automotive vehicle design, typically in positions like chief engineer, attribute lead, or technical lead focusing on critical performance metrics.
• Demonstrated history of managing vehicle engineering decisions throughout the entire development process, including requirements, concept, modeling, simulation, validation, testing, and release.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior engineering leaders at OEMs.
• Practical knowledge of CAD, PLM, simulation (CAE), physical and virtual testing, and design for manufacturing.
• Deep familiarity with the workflows and tools used by automotive body engineers, such as CATIA, NX, Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE, LS-DYNA, Pam-Crash, Radioss, Abaqus, Nastran, StarCCM+, OpenFOAM, and PowerFLOW.
• Comfortable applying data-driven approaches to engineering challenges.

• Practical experience using Python, AI tools, and ML/data-science processes.
• Background in applying machine learning or surrogate modeling to engineering design.
