Imnoo seeks a Senior Fullstack Engineer to automate manufacturing processes and develop production-ready cloud services, APIs, and machine learning tools. The role blends frontend, backend, CAD, and AI expertise in a flexible remote/onsite setup in Zürich.
This position centers on solving practical manufacturing challenges by building and deploying robust services into live production environments. The engineer will create tools that directly improve daily operations for manufacturers, focusing on real-world impact rather than theoretical exercises.
Responsibilities
- Build efficient software solutions that directly improve the daily workflows of manufacturing professionals.
- Create advanced data-processing and feature-extraction pipelines to handle CAD, 2D, and batch datasets for machine learning applications.
- Architect, develop, and manage cloud-based services, APIs, automated model training workflows, and supporting tooling.
- Take full ownership of services from initial concept through to stable, production-ready deployment.
- Maintain and enhance existing optimization and machine learning services.
- Improve and expand 2D, 3D, and CAD-based tools and solutions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated strong coding proficiency.
- Minimum five years of professional experience working with both dynamically and statically typed programming languages.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems effectively.
- Prior experience developing or working with CAD systems.
- Foundational knowledge or hands-on experience in 3D geometry, game development, fluid simulations, rendering, or CUDA.
- Track record of building and maintaining systems that operate reliably under heavy production loads.
Nice to have
- Academic background in mathematics or statistics combined with practical application in technology.
- Industry experience in mechanical fields, particularly CNC machining.
- Practical experience with frontend frameworks like React or Angular alongside backend development.
- Proven full-stack development capabilities.
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, and PyTorch Lightning.
- Experience industrializing ML models using quantization, ONNX, and Docker.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and pipeline development.
- Expertise in efficiently processing, clustering, filtering, indexing, and querying large datasets.
- Proficiency in automated model training and deployment workflows.
- Strategic data analysis skills, including statistical testing, error propagation, and identifying clusters or outliers.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS and Azure.
- Strong database skills in both SQL and NoSQL.
- Deep understanding of data structures.
- Familiarity with compiled languages like C#, C++, or similar.
