Working Student 20% (f/m/d)

ABB Power Grids in Zürich seeks a part-time Working Student to support Lean Management tools and document rebranding projects. This onsite role requires engineering studies and bilingual proficiency in English and German.

This position provides practical exposure to Lean Management, project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and change management. The student will assist with continuous improvement initiatives and oversee document rebranding activities within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Help optimize the Boards on Fire Lean Daily Management tool for ongoing improvements.
• Keep Lean boards, templates, and workflows current and accurate.
• Track Lean Management metrics and monitor the progress of improvement projects.
• Record process enhancements and aid in rolling out best practices.
• Oversee the timeline for rebranding internal and customer-facing documents.
• Work with department heads and team leads to ensure rebranding tasks are finished on schedule.
• Maintain a clear view of rebranding milestones, current status, and pending actions.
• Follow up with stakeholders regarding deadlines, dependencies, and final deliverables.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or holding a Master’s degree in engineering.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and German.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in daily tasks.
