Evatec seeks a working student to support product standardization efforts, including managing item data in PDM/PLM/ERP systems and optimizing component structures. This onsite role in Switzerland requires fluency in German and English.
Evatec designs and manufactures high-tech thin film deposition equipment for various high-tech markets. In this position, you will assist the company in standardizing products by maintaining data integrity, classifying components, and supporting engineering teams through part lifecycle changes.
Responsibilities
- Keep item data accurate and up-to-date within PDM, PLM, and ERP platforms.
- Organize and improve the structure of standard components used across the business.
- Collaborate with engineering and product management to manage the introduction and removal of parts.
- Participate in discontinuation processes and help refine these workflows for better efficiency.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program for mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Demonstrate a structured, pragmatic, and solution-focused approach to tasks.
- Show precision, reliability, and strong organizational skills.
- Possess solid experience using MS Office applications.
- Be fluent in both German and English.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with CAD software, such as Autodesk Inventor or Vault.
