The Digital Prototyping team at Sika Europe Management AG is inviting a motivated Mechanical Engineering student to join for a period of six to twelve months. This position allows candidates to apply their engineering knowledge to real-world challenges that influence research, manufacturing support, and new product development. Responsibilities
- Create and refine CAD models and assemblies.
- Set up and operate professional-grade 3D printing equipment.
- Execute 3D scanning procedures and perform reverse engineering tasks.
- Assist with rapid prototyping initiatives.
- Develop technical visualizations and demonstrations for projects.
- Provide engineering support for manufacturing-related issues.
- Take part in innovation and product development activities.
- Record engineering solutions and established best practices.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Demonstrate strong technical curiosity and a desire to learn new skills.
