Accountant (SAP)

THN Capital AG seeks a mid-level Accountant for an onsite role in Lugano. The position focuses on daily bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance using SAP systems on a part-time basis.

The company is looking for a professional to manage core financial operations within its accounting department. This position involves handling day-to-day bookkeeping, ensuring the accuracy of financial data through reconciliations, and producing essential reports via SAP software to support the organization's fiscal health.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting duties using SAP, such as posting journal entries, processing invoices, and updating general ledgers.
• Perform regular account reconciliations to verify data accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• Create financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, utilizing SAP tools.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes in adherence to established accounting standards.
• Maintain strict compliance with internal company policies and external regulatory requirements during financial operations.
• Help prepare tax returns and gather necessary documentation to support audit procedures.

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Possess at least five years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
• Demonstrate a proven track record as an Accountant with practical, hands-on expertise in SAP environments.
• Exhibit strong understanding of general accounting principles, practices, and relevant regulations.
• Show proficiency in SAP financial modules, specifically SAP FI/CO, SAP ECC, or SAP S/4HANA.

Nice to have

• Holding a CPA certification is considered an advantage.
