GBS, AP Accountant

Bühler Technologies seeks a Mid-level AP Accountant for its GBS team in Uzwil, CH. The role manages daily accounts payable operations, reconciliations, and period-end closing within a hybrid work model.

This position supports the Global Business Services (GBS) team by managing day-to-day accounts payable operations. The role ensures that all financial transactions are processed accurately and in line with the established service delivery agreement.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily accounts payable tasks as outlined in the service delivery agreement.
• Manage i-Doc processing for both intercompany and third-party transactions.
• Process employee expense claims promptly.
• Perform intercompany accounts payable reconciliation.
• Coordinate the payment run process.
• Investigate and resolve price or quantity variances for received goods and services by collaborating with other departments.
• Complete period-end closing tasks for accounts payable.
• Assist in the transition of activities from legal entities into the GBS structure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or an equivalent accounting qualification.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on accounts payable, ideally within a Shared Services Centre.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounts payable processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP FI, including journal entries and month-end cockpit functions using SAP and Hyperion.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Strong understanding of local accounting standards and practical experience with IFRS.
