Agile QA Engineer – Payments (Fiserv)

SUMMIT RECRUITMENT AG seeks a Senior Agile QA Engineer for a fixed-term, on-site role in Zürich. The position focuses on testing payment and card modules within Fiserv platforms, requiring fluent English and German.

This position centers on ensuring the quality of payment processing, card issuance, and core banking features built on Fiserv infrastructure. The engineer will operate within an Agile Scrum framework, collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and external technology partners to deliver reliable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance efforts within an Agile Scrum team, focusing on payment processing, card issuance, or core banking modules.
• Create, document, and execute test cases for features deployed on Fiserv platforms.
• Organize and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles in coordination with business stakeholders and external partners.
• Manage test data, maintain test environments, and update regression test suites.
• Incorporate testing activities into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous delivery.
• Identify, log, and track defects to resolution, liaising with development and vendor teams.
• Provide QA estimates, risk assessments, and test concepts during sprint and release planning sessions.

Requirements

• A degree in computer science or a related discipline, combined with professional experience in software quality assurance.
• At least five years of experience as a QA or Test Engineer, preferably within the payments or financial services sector.
• Practical experience testing on Fiserv platforms or products.
• Strong expertise in test design, execution, test management, and regression testing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with external partners.
• Highly self-organized with strong planning, prioritization, and analytical abilities.
• Fluent proficiency in both English and German.

Nice to have

• Testing certification such as ISTQB Advanced Level or Agile Tester.
