AI Engineer / Consultant - Internship

Artifactsa in Zürich Oerlikon offers a full-time internship for an AI Engineer / Consultant. Candidates must have experience in (Gen)AI and Data Science, fluency in Python and Git, and strong communication skills in English and either German or French. The role involves designing AI solutions for Swiss clients, working in agile teams, and contributing to internal projects in a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and deploy AI solutions using modern technologies, customized to client needs and business goals
• Use AI and client data to solve real business challenges and deliver measurable results
• Collaborate in agile teams across all project stages, including proposal development, solution design, deployment, and business development support
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams
• Support Artifactsa’s growth by developing internal assets and driving initiatives that contribute to company success

Requirements

• Background in (Gen)AI and Data Science, including knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision
• Proficiency in Python, along with experience using Git, SQL, DevOps, and MLOps practices
• Familiarity with data science tools such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Big Data frameworks like Spark
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and either German or French
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland and hold a valid work permit for Switzerland
• Intent to start the internship within three months of application

Nice to have

• Enjoyment of client and team collaboration is beneficial
• Prior experience in deploying AI solutions in production on cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP), including work with Docker, APIs, backend/frontend, and microservices
• Experience with frontend development using React
• Background as a full stack engineer is advantageous
