Analyst, Central Costing

VF International seeks a Central Costing Analyst in Stabio to support brand margin visibility through accurate costing analysis, database maintenance, and SAP standard cost uploads.

This position focuses on enhancing brand margin visibility by delivering precise and timely costing analysis. The role involves maintaining the costing database, validating inputs, and ensuring standard costs are correctly managed in SAP. It also contributes to identifying margin opportunities by analyzing various cost drivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely costing data for seasonal cost and margin analysis, highlighting key cost drivers.
• Develop, maintain, and utilize costing tools, BI dashboards, and AI-supported analytical models for each brand and season.
• Gather and verify product purchase cost inputs, Country of Origin, and dual sourcing options from various Sourcing Hubs.
• Collect trade agreement information and prepare databases to support duty rate assessments in collaboration with the Customs team.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining data needed for Standard Cost uploads into SAP.
• Execute and monitor Standard Cost uploads in SAP for all relevant product categories, keeping them updated across brands, warehouses, sites, and stores.
• Collaborate with Merchandising to gather forecast and buy plan assumptions, ensuring product mix inputs are reflected in seasonal costing and margin analysis.
• Work proactively with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify missing information, improve data quality, and align costing assumptions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of costing processes, tools, databases, BI dashboards, and AI-supported analytical models.
• Regularly use AI-enabled tools to support analysis and reporting activities, following company guidelines and business needs.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Financial background with prior experience in costing, controlling, supply chain finance, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical mindset and AI fluency, capable of working with large data volumes and translating outputs into meaningful business insights.
• Ability to work across functions and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail and high standards of data accuracy.
• Proactive approach and ability to follow through on open topics with relevant stakeholders.
• Clear communication skills, able to summarize key findings and explain cost drivers effectively.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and cross-functional environment.
• Fluent in English.
