The company seeks a Senior Analyst for its EMEA Supply Chain Finance team in Stabio, Switzerland, to manage forecasting, cost analysis, and reporting for supply chain operations.
This position supports the EMEA Supply Chain Finance team located in Stabio, Switzerland. The role focuses on preparing, developing, and analyzing supply chain costs while ensuring the continuity and quality of daily forecasting and reporting processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly and quarterly forecast and budget tasks for designated supply chain cost areas.
- Create financial analysis and planning data for product costs, covering purchase price variance, logistics, freight, and duty expenses.
- Help analyze variances across four European Distribution Centres, focusing on variable and fixed costs like supplies, depreciation, occupancy, and labor.
- Support variance analysis within the Customer Service area.
- Analyze, reconcile, and prepare reports to inform management of variances versus forecast, plan, and previous year.
- Contribute to the roll-out of Supply Chain projects and support the team in related financial activities.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance or Engineering
- Proven experience in financial business analysis, preferably in cost controlling
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Strong knowledge of computer systems (MS Office suite), with particular emphasis on reporting tools, including BPC
