Senior Analyst Record to Report

The company seeks a Senior Analyst for Record to Report to manage period-end close, ensure GL accuracy, and support financial reporting under US GAAP and statutory requirements at its Stabio campus.

This position is responsible for the precise and punctual completion of tasks within the Record to Report function. The analyst plays a critical part in maintaining balance sheet integrity, executing the general ledger close, and delivering financial statements that meet both US GAAP and local statutory standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures according to the established schedule.
• Draft and examine journal entries, verifying that outsourced transactions follow operational guidelines.
• Audit reconciliations generated by external providers to confirm data precision.
• Analyze period-over-period fluctuations prior to finalizing monthly reporting packages.
• Detect potential risks linked to daily operations and take steps to mitigate or resolve them.
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors, including SOX compliance checks.
• Collaborate with the Statutory department to align US GAAP figures with local accounting rules.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in accounting.
• Two to four years of hands-on experience in Record to Report or general ledger accounting, or a background in public accounting.
• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals and financial statements, with a focus on US GAAP and local GAAP.
