Manager, TechOps Finance

CSL Behring Vifor seeks a Manager, TechOps Finance to act as a strategic finance business partner, driving planning, analysis, and value delivery for the TechOps division in Switzerland.

This position serves as a Finance Business Partner for the TechOps division, providing critical financial insights, analysis, and decision support to leadership. The role collaborates closely with TechOps executives to steer financial planning, manage performance, and ensure the delivery of value across operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver forward-looking financial insights and strategic recommendations to TechOps leadership.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to resolve complex operational and financial challenges.
• Evaluate business cases, projects, and opportunities for cost or value optimization.
• Manage planning cycles, including budgeting, forecasting, and outlook updates.
• Build financial models, perform variance analysis, and critically assess underlying assumptions.
• Contribute to medium- and long-term strategic planning efforts.
• Track and monitor key financial and operational KPIs.
• Create concise, insight-driven dashboards and reporting materials.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure consistent financial reporting standards.
• Collaborate effectively with TechOps, FP&A, and broader Finance teams.
• Lead financial workflows and projects in partnership with TechOps.
• Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline.
• Minimum of five years of experience in finance roles, such as business partnering, planning, reporting, or accounting operations.
• Prior experience in the biopharmaceutical or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong organizational abilities and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Strong project and priority management capabilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Solid business and financial acumen.
• Capacity to work independently, drive results, and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• CPA/CA certification or MBA degree.
• Experience with dashboarding and visualization tools, such as PowerBI.
• Background supporting manufacturing, operations, or project-based functions, ideally within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industries.
