Novelis Switzerland SA seeks a Finance Lead in Küsnacht to drive digital transformation, automation, and AI initiatives within the Finance department, reporting directly to the VP Finance.
This position is central to modernizing the Finance function at Novelis Europe. Based at the European Headquarters in Küsnacht, the role reports directly to the VP Finance and focuses on implementing advanced technologies, including AI and automation, to enhance business processes and data analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and deploy digitalization, automation, and AI-driven solutions for key Finance processes.
- Champion the adoption of advanced tools such as Power BI, data analytics platforms, and automation software.
- Act as the primary Finance partner for digital transformation projects across Novelis Europe.
- Create scalable reporting, planning, and analytical frameworks.
- Build integrated data models that merge financial and operational data for deeper insights.
- Lead training programs to boost digital literacy and encourage the use of new technologies.
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycles from initial concept to final implementation.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis as a Business Partner.
- Foster collaboration with IT, Operations, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in digital transformation, business intelligence, data analytics, or process automation, preferably within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Proficiency in Power BI, data modeling, and enterprise systems, with several years of hands-on SAP experience.
- Strong background in operational and manufacturing finance, including planning, forecasting, costing, performance management, and financial reporting.
- Fluent command of English.
- Authorization to work in Switzerland without requiring employment sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Experience with OneStream, Databricks, or comparable planning and analytics platforms.
- Ability to communicate in German.
